Monitor Engineer/ Backline Tech

Duties include, mixing in ear monitors and taking care of all instruments on stage including, keys, guitars, bass and drums.

Covered for Blade while on family leave, duties included taking care of all guitars for George, Michael O'Neal(bu guitar) and Stanley Banks (bass) also took care of keyboards for David Garfeild

AUDIO ANALYST, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

System TechEngineer July, 1998-February, 2001

Responsible for setting up and maintaining touring sound systems including component level troubleshooting and repair, the supervision of 3 to 6 stagehands daily, the use of Crown IQ amplifier interface and software. Proficient on most consoles, including XL3, XL4 and 4K. Shows include, Monitor Engineer Kenny G/David Foster, Aspen, 1998, Monitor Engineer Televisa Live Telethon, Mexico City, Mexico, 1998, System Engineer on Bruce Springsteen World tour from February, 1999 to July, 2000 and many others. Cable Tech November 1995-April 1996

General warehouse responsibilities included light tech work, the assembly and repair of various cables including XLR, 11 pair , 12 pair, 40 pair and control and also the loading of trucks and machine shop help.

STAGECO. US., COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

Responsible for all warehouse and yard duties, including: loading of trucks, painting, fork lift operator, the repair and maintenance of chain motors, light carpentry and the construction of temporary structures for concert and event production, including Metallica’s Summer 98 Stadium Tour, Michael Martin Murphy’s Westfest , Telluride Bluegrass Festival, NBC Terror on Trial, U2 Pop Mart and Rolling Stones Bridges to Babylon. GRIZZLY ROSE NIGHT CLUB, Denver, CO.

Stage Manager/House Monitor Engineer March 1994- April 1996

3500-seat club. Managed all stage operations, including load in/out and changeovers. In addition I was the house monitor engineer, my responsibilities ranged from assisting visiting monitor engineers to mixing for many national acts. Acts included Charlie Daniels Band, Bellamy Brothers, Willie Nelson and dozens more.Full list available upon request.

Co- recording engineer and associate producer of the album Room Full of Blues, recorded and mastered at FTM studios Denver, CO.

BUFFALO ROSE NIGHT CLUB, Golden, CO

Front of House Engineer February, 1993-March, 1994

800-seat club. Responsible for everything from mixing Front of House for local bands, national act openers and monitors for national acts, 6 nights a week, to stage managing and advancing dates with national acts. Acts included Leon Russell, Randy Meisner, Molley Hatchet and dozens more.

Set up and managed the National Fiery-Foods & Barbecue Show plus numerous custom car shows.

National touring B reggae band , duties included advancing hotels and shows, collecting pay, setting up PA and taking care of all guitars, including lead, back up and bass.

Associates degree in Electronic Technology September 1997

GPA 3.5 earned a place on the Dean’s list with a 3.7 grade point average for two semesters and earned the award for outstanding leadership in my class.

Courses of study included AC/DC, Solid State, Microprocessors, assembly programming, advanced computer interfacing, algebra, trigonometry and various general education classes.
